Rapid Response Revival bolsters Advisory Board with appointment of Clinical Data Expert Lisa New
Australian Medtech startup Rapid Response Revival welcomes clinical data expert Lisa New to the Advisory Board.
Clinical and big data expert Lisa New has joined the Advisory Board of Rapid Response Revival, the creator of the CellAED®, the first low cost, miniaturised Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to be available on the market.
Based in Brisbane Australia, Lisa is an expert in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), Big Data, Computational Reasoning Ontology and Blockchain. She has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as an MBA from London Business School. Lisa is Practice Leader at the VR AR Association Sydney Chapter, and she is passionate about holistic, integrated preventive health care.
Her role on the Advisory Board will underpin the company’s commitment to significantly reducing the fatality rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), by using data to develop a greater understanding of the causal aspects of heart disease and SCA. Donovan Casey, Founder and Executive Chairman of Rapid Response Revival said of Lisa’s appointment, ‘Lisa brings a unique set of skills to our business, and we’re excited to have her join the team. Among other things, she will lead the ongoing development of our data policies and practices, to ensure we maintain an ethical and compliant position now and into the future.
Rapid Response Revival will in the future be making selected medical data available to the appropriate health, medical and emergency services, for improving individual and community health outcomes. Mr Casey added, ‘Lisa will help us deliver on our vision to increase the survival rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, which is currently less than 1% globally. Accessing the right clinical data, and using it carefully and skillfully will be a key factor in making that happen.’
