Rapid Response Revival the only Australian MedTech Startup to Attend Medical Fair Asia 2018
Sydney Headquartered company Rapid Response Revival, the developer of the CellAED® will be exhibiting at Medical Fair Asia in Singapore, the 12th International Exhibition on Hospital, Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, Medical & Rehabilitation Equipment & Supplies. The event will be held 29-31 August 2018.
Attendance at the exhibition will allow the company to expand its growing order book, and connect with potential future investors and strategic partners.
‘We are planning to launch CellAED® in multiple regions late 2018, and we are open for business in terms of distribution and strategic partnership agreements’, explained CEO Leanne Knowles
Rapid Response Revival (RRR) has developed a low cost, mobile Automated External Defibrillator (AED) that will allow every household to own an AED. The first release CellAED® is expected to retail for around A$150.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) kills more than 6 million people globally every year.1
While around 70% of Sudden Cardiac Arrests (SCA) – (Out of Hospital) – occurs in the home2existing AEDs are expensive, heavy and cumbersome, making ownership beyond most people.
RRR Managing Director Donovan Casey added, ‘CellAED® is a unique combination of product miniaturization, proprietary algorithms and software. Our product is Internet of Things (IoT) enabled, and it offers diagnostic capabilities, as well as all the functionality of a fully automatic AED.’
The company’s mission is to increase the survival rate of SCA from around 3% to upwards of 50%2. RRR will be found in the Start Up Park (Hall 15) at this year’s Medical Fair Asia, and is currently one of only two Australian organisations registered to exhibit.
